Out-Of-School Time Programs

We inspire youth to continue learning, even after the last school bell has rung. Progressive Arts Alliance has programs for afterschool and during the summer.

Afterschool Programs

We share our talents with area schools and community organizations to provide art-making workshops to groups of students.

We have a history of collaborating with community organizations, so contact us if you have an idea for partnership.

Summer Programs

This summer we collaborated with area nonprofits and community organizations to deliver arts-based programs.

Students at Open Doors Academy enjoyed week-long camps: “Picture Me” (photography), “Creepy and Cool Character Creations” (sculpture & animation), and “Larger Than Life” (puppetry & movement). At the Boys & Girls Club in Slavic Village, teens created their own super heroes and comic books.  You can learn more here.

Library Programs

Local libraries make wonderful partners for Progressive Arts Alliance! This summer we held Krita workshops throughout branches of the Cuyahoga County Public Library and offered hip-hop workshops at the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library.

Here's what their librarians think of our programs. See how students designed and created inflatable sculptures in one of our past summer camps and read about installation art last summer here.
