Our Funding Sources

Our school residencies and many of our out-of-school time programs are free to students. Others are available for a small fee. Community organizations that partner with us offset some of our costs by paying Progressive Arts Alliance for the program service. Progressive Arts Alliance does require schools that participate in our residencies to make a financial contribution. This is typically achieved through their district funding, the school's business partners, or foundation support. Progressive Arts Alliance can work with a school or community organization to help secure their portion of the funding, so the "cost" to participate is not a barrier.

Progressive Arts Alliance receives support from a variety of sources. This support is critical to making our programming accessible for diverse audiences.

Foundations/Public Support

The majority of our funding comes from private foundations in Northeast Ohio.

Since 2008, Cuyahoga Arts & Culture (CAC) - a public funder of arts and culture organizations, programs, and events in Cuyahoga County - has provided generous support that makes much of our work possible.

Funding for our operations and programming has also been made possible through state tax dollars allocated by the Ohio Legislature to the Ohio Arts Council (OAC).

We are growing our corporate revenue through grants and a corporate sponsorship program. If you are interested in connecting with Progressive Arts Alliance to a corporation, please contact .

To reach more students with our dynamic arts-integrated education programming, we need support of all sizes to help us build tomorrow’s leaders through the arts.

Progressive Arts Alliance also depends on generous donations from individuals. We welcome the opportunity to share our work with you. You can donate here or contact us to learn more about how your support can impact youth.

Thank you to our generous funders:
